Honors Geography Student, As we start the unit on Latin America, one of your requirements will be to produce a tri-fold brochure on a specific country from this part of the world. You will be assigned a country from Latin America by you teacher. Your country will be from the areas of Central America, South America, or the Greater and Lesser Antilles. You may choose to make the tri-fold as a travel brochure or a information brochure. You will be graded on the information you place in your brochure, the layout, and presentation. It should be colorful and neat. Once you have received your country, you are to find the information listed to the right. Your brochure can be hand done or computer generated. Type in http://www.altavista.com 2. Put in the name of your country with quotation marks -- (example Peru) 3. Scroll down. Click on More Answers >> More answers has great information. 4. After you click on More Answers > > you will get the following choices. Where can I find a history of the country? Where can I find extensive historical, economic, and political information about the country? Where can I find a concise encyclopedia article on my country? 5. At the very bottom of the page you will find. Where can I find a map for the country? 6. Use any other sources you choose. Just make sure to document all information. |
